| Ground Marker is an airfield surface based system to provide automatic taxiway positional voice advisories, and warnings, directly to flight crews in the cockpit. |
Additionally, Runway Occupancy Times can be significantly reduced by voice advisories, directly to landed pilots, of ‘distance remaining to exit’.
No change or addition to aircraft equipment is required as Ground Marker operates directly through the aircraft Marker Receiver.
Airport vehicle drivers may receive taxiway positional voice advisories through a simple, in-cab, receiver.
