| Following increasing concern with safety and runway incursions the FAA issues a Broad Agency Announcement inviting proposals for new technologies by which to reduce Runway Incursions. |

| FAA receives 93 submissions to the Broad Agency Announcement with Ground Marker one of six awarded contracts for prototype manufacture and demonstration. |

| 'Proof of Concept' successfully demonstrated to FAA officials and other interested parties at Bournemouth International Airport, UK. |
