Ground Marker provides immediate cockpit warning of Stop Bar and Runway Warning Status Lights (RWSL) Infringement.
- Entry to Runway at incorrect access point.
Additionally, Ground Marker includes RS 485 Data Link for future real-time control by Surface Movement Radar Target Tracking software. SMR control allows Caution or Warning messages to be immediately sent to aircraft (including landing aircraft) where a risk of impending incursion or collision is detected, thus meeting the United States National Transportation Safety Board's requirements for Incursion Prevention systems.
