ISO7 Clean Room and Quality Assurance

The microelectronics operation is carried out in a certified ISO7, Class 10,000 clean room.MIL-STD-883, the definitive chip and wire quality control specification is used extensively in the Axis Electronics cleanroom to determine acceptance criteria for process control, from start to finish. All products follow a fully documented procedures, from initial board verification right up to final inspection. Quality Assurance and controlled handling is of the up most importance with many microelectronic assemblies containing fragile technologies.

Our range of Quality Assurance and process control stages include:

Pull/shear tester, determining the adhesion strength of a bonded die and pull strength of wire bonds;
Automated ‘Bond Process Control’ (BPC) monitoring first and second bonds and alerting potential issues;
High power microscopic checks for MMIC’s after die placement;
Bench scopes for 100% final inspection of assemblies.
