our continuous improvement culture. An ongoing investment in staff training coupled with a focussed approach to understanding customer requirements from the start of any project has resulted in Axis Electronics having an enviable reputation for quality.

Axis Electronics have a quality management system that is aligned to the specific needs of the aerospace, defence and high reliability industries. The quality management system is accredited to to BS EN (AS)9100 which includes the requirements of ISO9001:2001.

Axis Electronics has a long history in the high reliability sector. As a result all staff are trained to IPC A 610 Class 3 utilising J.STD–001 Class 3 as our site standard.

In addition, the Introduction of lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, SMED and Poka Yoke has allowed us to ‘design’ out errors in our processes before they become defects. In particular we can offer: -

Real time process feedback via AOI and Optical Comparison, thus ensuring the first to the last assembly of each batch meet specification
Intelligent SMT feeders preventing the loading of incorrect part numbers
Web Tracking of your products throughout our shopfloor
