Axis Electronics has invested significantly in a well defined and practised strategy that prevents counterfeit devices being accepted into its facility. Axis Electronics Counterfeit avoidance process has built on the guidelines within Industry Standards such as IDEA-STD-1010 and is compliant with AS5553 (Aerospace Standard - Counterfeit Electronic Parts ; Avoidance, Detection, Mitigation and Disposition).

We believe the role we play is to ensure suspect devices are prevented from being used within our manufacturing facility, thus giving you total confidence. This process includes strategic supplier selection, continuous monitoring and ‘best in class’ incoming inspection, including in house 3D X-ray and IC decapsulation (Decap).
