Summary

Supporting the Account Manager managing day-to-day customer accounts in a customer intimate environment. This role will be responsible for reviewing and processing customer purchase orders, maintaining customer orders during the duration of the contract, inputting into production schedules, managing returned material for repair under the RMA process and supporting the Account Manager in their role managing day-to-day priorities.
This role is driven from business growth year on year and projected growth plans for future years. This role for the right candidate is a stepping stone for progression within the Business Development function of Axis Electronics and a great role to learn and engage with all areas of the business.

Main Duties:

  • Contract review of incoming orders: load new customer Purchase Orders onto the ERP system and check all details are accurate and correct.
  • Customer schedule management: load new orders into scheduling system and check all details are accurate and correct ahead and hand over to the planning function with a standard/detailed contract review completed.
  • Importing customer part and BoM Setups into the ERP system accurately using customer data.
  • Managing and actioning customer requests daily and feeding information into other areas of the business i.e production, purchasing and engineering.
  • Maintaining customer query and concession logs.
  • CofC processing and checking to ensure the requirements of the contract have been met ahead of handing over to the Account Manager for sign off.
  • Attend customer visits in support of the Account Manager.

Person Specification:

  • Strong PC skills with knowledge of Outlook and Excel (preferred).
  • Previous knowledge of ERP systems preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional manner with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
