We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated test and repair cell team in a progressive environment. The role will be varied and an exciting opportunity to learn a wide range of different tasks supporting both internal and external customer service. It will involve working closely with our account management team in supporting the processing of orders through the department, an opportunity to support in basic engineering tasks, collaborating with the engineering and quality departments and a wide range of scheduling and reporting.
The role gives a great insight into manufacturing but also allows the individual to work across departments and build relationships across the site. There will be a personal development plan in place with full training provided and a great opportunity to grow and develop across multiple disciplines.
Main Duties:
- Using the Enterprise Resource System;
- Booking product through shopfloor
- Picking and returning of material
- Acting as a subject expert to the manufacturing team and being first line of support for ERP system queries
- Customer schedule management on return orders
- Managing and actioning customer requests on return work whilst feeding information into other areas of the business
- Support with reporting KPIs leading into operational dashboards
- Converting customer returns into work instructions
Person Specification:
- Strong PC skills with knowledge of Outlook and Excel (preferred).
- Ability to work independently but also someone who enjoys being part of a wider team and working together to achieve a common goal
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a friendly approach and strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of electronics would be helpful but not required
- Good knowledge of Excel/word Including great attention to detail.
