Hours: 39 per week. 7.30 - 4.30 Monday - Thursday, 7.30 - 12.30 Friday

Summary
We are currently looking for a SMT Technician to carry out manufacturing process steps for the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and assemble product to agreed quality levels to meet customer expectations
Main Duties:
- Set-up and run SMT lines to specified efficiency and process quality levels
- Ensure product meets IPC 610 to the specified class
- Input and preparation of process control documentation including first off inspection
- Work closely with ENG team and other technicians to support in fault finding and innovative solutions
- Ensure you are familiar with the department’s output production targets
- Complete all necessary paperwork and update databases to meet the requirements of the quality management system
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
- Maintain to the highest level workmanship and product standards, and ensure no scrap is created with minimal re-work outside of design
Person Specification:
- Professional manner with excellent internal customer service skills
- Good understanding of English including verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and strives for high quality standards
- Accurate with good manual dexterity
- Desire to learn and develop
- Interest in electronics / manufacturing
Previous experience:
- Experience of running pick and place machines, preferably MyData, Dek, Jet printer, SPI,X-ray and reflow ovens
- Preferable creating DEK, SPI, Jet printer programs, not essential as training will be given
- Good component recognition skills
- Previous experience of package creation would be beneficial
- Previous experience in working from circuit and Engineering drawings
